Haxey is the largest parish in the Isle of Axholme. Within it's
boundaries are the villages of Haxey and Westwoodside and the hamlets of
Low Burnham, East Lound, Graizelound (Craiselound), Newbigg, Upperthorpe,
Nethergate, Coney Garth and Park.
Haxey is famous for the
"Haxey Hood", a game which takes place on 6th January every year.
